Continued Access Amid COVID-19

Posted by Christin D. Hoyt | Mar 17, 2020 | 0 Comments

We do not know where this new virus is headed, but we know one thing:  we will do the best job we possibly can for you and your case.  The good thing is our firm has cutting edge technology which means that even if we are required to close our offices, we will remain “open” to our clients remotely.

Our lawyers and paralegals are able to work from home with the same capabilities as if he or she were in the office.  We are largely paperless, which means our clients' complete files are accessible to us remotely over the internet and saved in the “cloud.”  In the event we are ordered to “close” our office as nonessential services, we will be available by email, phone and video conferencing.

We do not know for sure about other businesses, however, we believe medical offices will remain open as “essential services.”  Some courts will be suspending jury trials and nonessential hearings for a period of time and certain hearings may be accomplished by teleconference.

While there may be some delay in your case, we will do the absolute best job we can and will continually keep you informed.  We will be available to you, even if not “in person.”

Thank you for your cooperation during this unprecedented time.  We want to support our country's effort by socially distancing ourselves and stem the outbreak of COVID-19, but at the same time our clients come as our first priority.
