Certified Paralegal
Stefaney Crosslin is a bilingual Advanced Certified Paralegal, who hails from Fort Worth, Texas. Stefaney joined the Southlake Dismuke & Waters Team in July of 2016. Stefaney assists Mike Waters with estate planning, probate, corporate transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.
Before her time at DW, Stefaney studied psychology and Spanish at Texas A&M University from 2004-2006 and received the TAMU Regents' Scholarship. Missing DFW, Stefaney transferred to University of North Texas to study Spanish and Sociology. During her time at UNT, she became a member of Tau Sigma, the National Honor Society for Transfer Students. With a love for world cultures, Stefaney spent time in Valencia, Spain to study Spanish at the AIP Language institute. After graduating from UNT in 2012, Stefaney decided to attend Southern Methodist University's Certificate Program in Paralegal Studies. After finishing the certification program in 2014, she did an internship at the Perry Law firm in Fort Worth, Texas, focusing on family law.
In 2020, Stefaney became certified by the National Association of Legal Assistant's and shortly thereafter received an Advanced Certification in Business Organizations and Incorporated Entities to become and Advanced Certified Paralegal. Stefaney is a member of the Fort Worth Paralegal Association and the State Bar of Texas Paralegal Division.
In her free time, Stefaney enjoys stand-up paddle boarding, reading, and spending time with her family in Denton, Texas.
